Mike Andrew was born in Schenectady, New York and grew up mainly in Georgia and central Florida. After serving three years in the Army and four years in the Air Force, he attended the University of South Florida in Tampa and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Upon graduation from college, Mike had the great fortune to go to work for one of the prime contractors in the Space Shuttle Program at Kennedy Space Center; he worked in various capacities as a mechanical engineer, and retired as the Space Shuttle program was coming to an end.

Mike and his wife had started visiting Maggie Valley after his sister and her husband moved there. They enjoyed the mountains, beautiful scenery, friendly people, the laid-back style of living, and especially the weather. After he retired, they decided they had had enough of Florida’s never-ending summers and stifling humidity and moved to Maggie Valley.

Mike decided on real estate as his second career because it demands many of the skills he had developed while working in the Shuttle Program such as organization, attention to detail and commitment to the needs of the customer. He chose to associate myself with Keller Williams because it is a very agent-oriented company; this support allows him to provide the highest level of service to his clients.
